consist of a complex network covering the

of "walkie-talkie" radios because
of the removal of government licensing restrictions.
These radios are typically small hand-held
devices, with a range of about 3Km. Typical
users are schools, golf courses, farmers etc. |

there is a need to operate over a larger area
then more powerful radios would be required.
These would have to be licensed. A typical
example would be the radio system used by
a taxi firm. These can be very complex systems
that may include some data communications,
